Pastor Marvin Walker & First Lady Claudette Walker
Senior Pastor
Rev. Marvin Walker is an ordained minister, licensed with the United Pentecostal Church International (UPCI), headquartered in St. Louis, MO.
Together, they have worked as a husband-wife ministry team in pastoral work first in Odessa, TX, then for 23 years in Cincinnati, OH. After leaving Cincinnati, Pastor Walker was president of Tupelo Children’s Mansion Ministries for two years where they also pastored Abundant Life Tabernacle. Since 2001, they have been pastors at Faith Apostolic Church of Troy, MI.
They also served for over 20 years as North American Bible Quiz Master for the General Youth Division.
They are incredibly humble, loving Christians who have a passion for helping the hurt and bringing everyone closer to our precious Jesus.
Assistant Pastor
Rev. Benjamin Bouren is a licensed minister with the UPCI and was born and raised in Michigan. He is a graduate of Purpose Institute and is now an instructor. Ben has been a member of Faith Apostolic since 2005 and Beth joined him following their marriage in 2011. The couple have been a ministry team working in various places at Faith Apostolic from worship team, teaching, prayer leads & cleaning.
Ben & Beth and their 3 daughters also spent a year as Aimers to the Pacific Island of Samoa. During their time in Samoa they were able to minister through home Bible studies, evangelism, music & children’s ministry.
The heartbeat of the Bourens has been to support the vision of Pastor & Sis. Walker from the beginning and to support the growth of Faith Apostolic & its members.
